Pre Workout Preparation Is the Magic Pill for Effectiveness

Like most things in life, you’re first told how to do something and then you begin doing it.  Like most things in life, as we grow older, we find out the folks that imprinted us with so many ‘How To's’ just didn’t know how to do it right.

Pre Workout Preparation is one such thing.  In fact, ‘pre workout’ used to be defined as that point in time, with shorts on and motivation high, that you might have stretched a little or, at minimum, decided in your head that you were going to focus on upper body, lower body, or maybe even cardio.

Science and time have served up an entirely new definition of what ‘pre workout’ means to you.  Pre workout can mean the difference between just getting tired and seeing gains where you want them.  Pre workout can mean the difference between a great experience and a horrible long term injury that will place you even further from your goals.  Don’t let that happen.

Pre workout is literally the point in which you decide to do what you do correctly prior to execution of the physical exercise.  And, here’s the kicker:  Most professionals start their pre workout regimen up to eight hours in advance of the actual workout.  Eight hours!

Before you begin wondering how to fill eight hours of the day or night with what you were taught long ago – things like stretching and warming up – thing ‘bigger’.  Think LIFESTYLE.

A lifestyle that includes working out seriously is, in fact, your lifestyle.  The eight hours pre workout preparation referred to begins with what you eat.  Nutrition, and the world’s most effective delivery system of nutrients to the cell level, is food and supplementation.  You not only are what you eat, you are what you eat and that dictates how you perform in the gym.  By looking at your gym performance based on your entire days’ food intake, you can almost dictate what kind of workout you’ll have.

Fuel yourself correctly all day, and your workout becomes a focused part of your day when you invest in you.  Well fueled, your workout is free of thoughts like fatigue, wanting to simply ‘chill’ in the gym, or lack of motivation.  You need power in the gym and the fuel you ingest – both food and targeted supplementation - will fuel that exertion.

Food isn’t just for hungry…food is fuel for a purpose.  Define that purpose, and your fuel should be easy for you to choose.

In addition to your meals, supplementation for your purpose is available and can only enhance your efforts whether you’re building lean muscle mass, losing weight, or targeting a specific body part or parts for a specific reason.  For example, a recent study in Canada suggests supplementation of testosterone prior to a workout can assist with heart failure!  That’s pre workout preparedness!

Motivation too is a factor prior to working out, and for many that comes with a definitive pre workout meal or supplementation regimen.  Full Blown Extreme by Max Muscle Sports Nutrition, for example, is a Nitric Oxide Boosting, Creatine Supplying, Energy & Intensity enhancing pre-workout supplement drink mix developed specifically for the 15 to 30 minutes prior to a workout.

With a great day of meals, a prescribed routine of supplementation for your specific needs by a Certified Fitness Nutrition Coach from Max Muscle Sports Nutrition, a good nights’ rest and a goal, pre workout gets a new meaning doesn’t it?  Pre workout is now defined as ‘lifestyle’, and as you can see, affects the goal as a whole.

Prepare accordingly.
