So I was SOOO sore the last two days from lifting and my running accomplishment I could not run yesterday and my biceps were so sore too. I took a looong hot bath in a couple cups Epsom Salt, 1/4 cup Baking Soda and a teaspoon or two of lavender oil. Felt so good I fell asleep in the tub and woke up cold. I went to bed and slept like a rock for about 13 hours last night and feel a ton better.
We had a superbowl/birthday party for me yesterday. I was pretty good in my eating. I am about to go to bed and will get up in 5 hours to go hit the gym and lift again.
I did my weigh in and basic measurements. I am appalled. I did try hard this week; apparently not hard enough. I still weigh 220. I FEEL bigger today than I have in a couple weeks.
I read many of the "Ask Dr. Harvey" questions and submitted my own on the amount of soreness I feel every time I work out, especially my calves.
I am going to hit it hard and more consistently in the resistance and cardio training portions this week. I really have to do something. Week 1 was a wash, week 2 no results. Start of week 5 I have to take new photos.
Anyone who reads this in Phoenix, hit me up and we will go out and work out together. I am also going to look up HIIT (training) this week and possibly add it so up the fat burning ability of my body per JamesOdekirk. |
