Hi Patrick! I'm doing Great! Thanks for asking. I'm staying consistent w/exercise & eating clean, only 3wks now, but its a start. I'm hiking each morning straight up hill 1hr & doing weights 1-2hrs in the pm at least 5xs a week!
The eating clean part is the most difficult, but I'm getting better at that too.. Hey let me get your expertise on some MM supplements.
I've been taking these supplements for 2months now (except ARM, 1st container) - should i make any changes?
MaxPro 2x day (mid snack & pm after last workout),
ThermXX (2x day),
ARM (am & pm after workouts),
Cleanse & Lean (am & pm).
I feel I'm getting stronger but my abs & glutes are not getting lean fast enough. Any suggestions on which products might help me see results quicker?
Thanks, Jasmine

I'm taking the Lean Protein, Cleanse and Lean, CLA, and XTR. I was using Quadra Cuts Day and Night, but the Day made me nauseous. Still trying the Night. I just bought ARM because I'm not recovering as fast as I'd like to.

Hi, I'm doing well, thank you for asking! I got a little off-track with my birthday week...but I'm getting back in the groove now! Without Max Muscle, I probably would have given up just like I always have in the past - so I'm really grateful for this challenge and my consultant.

Hi Patrick, thanks for inquiring as to everyone's status!! I would definitely like your opinion on my progress. Can you go to my Week 12 Article and see what you think about my measurements? I keep asking my MM guy if I should take another muscle builder like CX3. After my workouts I'm doing a scoop of MaxPro and a scoop of the watermelon AfterGlow (yummy!). I'm 5'10" and weigh 165 now, was hoping to get to 150-155 but the scale has pretty much stopped moving down the last couple of weeks as I'm lifting heavy (well, as heavy as possible!!). My arms, back, and legs are really lean and am working on my backside and abs with more cardio too. ANY input is much appreciated! Thanks! ~Diana~

Yes, I hope to get to 145 lbs. Plan is to be in figure competition in Sept. It's really difficult to lose while building muscle. Any ideas? I'm going to really journal my diet and strictly adhere to my MM nutrition plan. I'm going to incorporate more cardio...a bootcamp and 30-45 min of treadmill/bike/arc daily. I've been really lax on my cardio due this intense training! I'm glad to hear that all is well...keep in touch!

Hey Patrick! Yep I'm in LG! Well Santa Clara really (I go to SCU) but LG is where my parents are located. That's cool that you went to West Valley, what did you study? Do you own an MM store in Elk Grove? Glad to hear from you! I'm doing well.. Stats and photos are going up in a week once finals are over! I have almost lost 15 lbs.. Yeah! :) I am enrolling for the San Jose NPC figure show this JUly 10th... Just extra motivation to push it harder. It's my first show so we will see how things go! Keep in touch, Patrick! It's good to hear how you have been!

I know what you mean - up 1 lbs down 2 lbs - lots going on - 2hrs in the gym last week every night - then i got sick :( now - it's Monday feeling better- just wish the scale would make up it's mind... so, going to hit it HARD this week and see what happens..... I know I'm doing lots more weight - so the "muscle thing" must be messing up the scale - I see it working - it's just so hard when the scale won't move DOWN.... hope you had a great weekend - it's was pretty nice here.

Had a great week. Working hard in the gym. Crazy ABC workout...been at it for 5 weeks. Will take 3 days of the end of this week and start again! It's a killer but love it! Beautiful day today...did some cross fit with my daughter at the park! I bet you're having some beautiful weather! This week I'm going to hit cardio hard to lose a couple lbs...only 6 left! It's difficult when your scale keeps going up & down while putting on muscle.

Thank YOU - It's going great- down 16 lbs from 1-11-10 and more to go- gym is so fun- 2 hrs a night - and that is the easy part - eating all the food is hard. I now know that I have to eat lots of "protien" so my body does not eat my muscle. How are you doing? Wow I wish I was in CA - this snow is for the birds. Can't wait for the SUN and warm days - so, I can get outside ya know. Just Started my 3 month with Kristin in Fairfax - She is so amazing..... looking forward to a NEW ME. Thanks for the message - Hope you have a GREAT DAY - Trish

Thanks Patrick, I am grateful for the motivation from you and my friends. This is a great program, and I will be honest with my trainer that I need the meal plan and to have him give me my stats. I didn't want to pressure him despite the fact that I pay him quite well and in advance. I feel better now that I have told someone the real reason I want to quit. I will only hurt me. Thank you so much. Have a great weekend.

Fear of Change
Fear of change can keep you in a soul-crushing job, a bad relationship, or a physically destructive lifestyle. Ask yourself; is the devil-you-know approach good enough for you? Is your life making you happy? If you answered no to either of those questions, WHAT do you have to lose by embracing change?
The truth is, things should be changing — your body is changing, your habits are changing, your attitude is changing. This might be the point where, because of so much change, you're starting to freak out a little bit. You might be asking yourself, What will all this change mean — to my life's direction, my relationships, my identity?
LAST CHANCE WORK OUT!

LAST CHANCE WORKOUT
Do you ever feel stressed out, and need a shot of inspiration?
If the answer is yes, then take a deep breath, and…
Escape to the Beauty, the Wonder and the Joy of Nature
To a mind that is still, the whole universe surrenders. ~Chang Tsu
To me every hour of the light and dark is a miracle. Every cubic inch of space is a miracle. ~Walt Whitman
Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul, and sings the tune without words, and never stops at all. Emily Dickinson
I've been able to add in Gleutamine. Will be going for body fat this week. Let's see how well my body likes me!
Finding out through all of this, how "focused" I have become. "Focus" may enter "determination". I've come to realize that all around me, if I don't know how these two words inter relate in their lives. About Focus and determination. I cannot underestimate such elements.

I love my MM stack...gives me the energy and focus I need!!! My trainer is starting me on a strenuous training session starting in Feb...time for some serious muscle gain! WORKING HARD, PLANNING HARD & TRAINING HARD...PUSHING IT TO THE LIMIT! Hope all is great with you!

Hey Patrick...Things are very good! I am taking today to rest. Had to yesterday as well, but I have been pushing it hard and my body told me to stick with stretching and core...LOL Back at it again tomorrow though. How are things going for you?
I have some questions for you though. I am currently taking Max pro, Max gourmet, glutamine and CLA. I have been taking these for 2 weeks. Is there any other products I should incorporate into my regime soon? I work out 6 days a week. I am eating FAB and I have no issues other than drinking enough water. (I am now putting water bottles in every room in the house and in my car). My current work outs are with a trainer 3 x's a week (weights/cardio circuit) where two of those days I walk 4 miles after the sessions. The other days I do cardio for 1 hour and core/stretching for another 30 min. Any thoughts? *Jane*

Hide's arm was like the size of my head. It was funny how they ate like every 2 hours pulling out their tupperware eating I think yams and tuna? That's some dedication right thar!! Let me know if you need a contact.

VISUALIZATION OF SUCCESS
January 21, 2010
The Introduction from Wisdom of Wolves
The attitude of the wolf can be summed up simply: it is a constant visualization of success.
The collective wisdom of wolves has been progressively programmed into their genetic makeup throughout the centuries.
Wolves have mastered the technique of focusing their energies toward the activities that will lead to the accomplishment of their goals.
Wolves do not aimlessly run around their intended victims, yipping and yapping. They have a strategic plan and execute it through constant communication. When the moment of truth arrives, each understands his role and understands exactly what the pack expects of him.
The wolf does not depend on luck. The cohesion, teamwork and training of the pack determines whether the pack lives or dies.
There is a silly maxim in some organizations that everyone, to be a valuable member, must aspire to be the leader.
This is personified by the misguided CEO who says he only hires people who say they want to take his job. Evidently, this is supposed to ensure that the person has ambition, courage, spunk, honesty, drive - whatever. In reality, it is simply a contrived situation, with the interviewee jumping through the boss's hoops.
It sends warnings of competition and one-up-manship throughout the organization rather than signals of cooperation, teamwork and loyalty.
Everyone does not strive to be the leader in the wolf pack. Some are consummate hunters or caregivers or jokesters, but each seems to gravitate to the role he does best. This is not to say there are not challenges to authority, position and status - there are.
But each wolf's role begins emerging from playtime as a pup and refines itself through the rest of its years. The wolf's attitude is always based upon the question, "What is best for the pack?" This is in marked contrast to us humans, who will often sabotage our organizations, families or businesses, if we do not get what we want.
Wolves are seldom truly threatened by other animals.
By constantly engaging their senses and skills, they are practically unassailable. They are masters of planning for the moment of opportunity to present itself, and when it does, they are ready to act.
Because of training, preparation, planning, communication and a preference for action, the wolf's expectation is always to be victorious.
While in actuality this is true only 10 percent of the time or less, the wolf's attitude is always that success will come-and it does.

What does it take to be NUMBER ONE!
I love football! My longest punt, 42 yards. Ok, so I follow what sayings are out there for inspiration, truth, etc.! There are many “descriptions” am sure of what it takes to be “number one”! But, what “DOES” it take? Here is from Vince L.
COMMITMENT : since “Winning is not a sometime thing, it is an all the time thing. You don’t do things right once in a while…you do them right all the time.”
This “MaxFormation” for me is for a lifestyle change into a healthy presentation and more of me to commit towards the goals ahead in my life, as I come to learn to open my life up.
(did you get it – did you see “the Biggest Looser” last night)! “This week the roles were reversed at the Ranch.
Before joining The Biggest Loser most of the contestants had never even attempted to work out on their own.
At the Ranch they depend on Bob and me to teach them how to lose weight. But how well were they learning?
Could the students become the teachers?” (Who's Got the Power?)( Emotions Run Deep was clearly upset by this week's twist.
Bob kept pushing her to tell him the reason why, but she refused to show any emotion or to express herself.
Jillian finally decided to step in to try to get her to open up, pushed her to explain how she felt about her 9-year-old daughter, back at home, having her same habits as her and her grandmother (Migdalia's mom, the Green Team's Miggy) and growing up to be overweight too. Instead of giving me answers about why she was doing this, she gave up and walked out.
After some pleading from Miggy and Bob, Migdalia decided not to quit. Later on, Miggy talked with Migdalia some more. She's glad her daughter does recognize she need helps and in time will be willing to get it.
(Knowledge Is Power)( Unraveling the Problem)( Did They Teach Them Enough?)
TRUTH: “Truth is knowing that your character is shaped by your every day choices.”
EXCELLENCE TO RESULTS: “Winning is not everything – but making the effort to win is.”
PASSION: “There’s only one way to succeed in anything, and that is to give it everything. I do, and I demand my players do.” Vince L.
HABIT: “The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather in a LACK OF WILL.”
MENTAL TOUGHNESS: “If you’re lucky enough to find a PERSON with a lot of head and a lot of heart, he’s never going to come off the field second.”
