I love anything outdoors to include camping, hiking, running, climbing, & cycling. Enjoying girls night out, dancing, or just relaxing with a movie. I'd love to learn to mountain climb...I love to rappel so climbing would be the ultimate! Not to forget...the more I spend time at the gym...THE MORE I LOVE LIFTING! Well I did cardio twice today for 1000 calories on top of legs :) For the most part I use a machine called a crossramp. It's sorta like an olyptical maching, but you can adjust resistance and incline. It really saves my knees. Whats the arch?

I can't wait to hear about your new stats on Tuesday, I bet they will be fantastic. So you love leg day? wow. With me its a love hate relationship. It's easily the most challenging day for me, but I love doing legs because a lot of guys don't have wheels. I want to have nice symmetry with my body, so gotta work everything. Turkey burgers sound good by the way.

Good morning. Where did your profile pic go? I was just thinking about you and your goal weight when I realized I don't even know how tall you are? I was shooting for 145 too, but the way the scale is moving so slowly, not sure if that is realistic with the muscle weight. I'm 5'10" and I would love to keep losing a pound a week. I'm killing myself with cardio this week though ~ who has the time??? I just keep telling myself Toni did it, I can too!! I see you are adding more cardio in too. How's it going? I was trying to hold off on posting a pic to every 4 weeks, but realized my week 12 photos I don't even have my head included in my front shots - result of self-timer on my camera, better get one in this weekend. It's almost FRIDAY!!

Your body only allows you to burn fat for only about 30-45min in high intensity training. Boot camps are good but your body is going to fight you more than let you do what it want if your doing them more than once a week. I do crossfit 3x a week and do basic work-outs in-between. Cardio in the morning is beter cause you force your body to use fat for fuel keep it no more than 45 min moderate intensity, but make sure you eat a good breakfast afterward. Then do your work-outs in the evenings if you can. Cutting out starchy carbs.

Yes, I know what you mean with the cardio blast. Always worried it will whittle away muscle mass. I must have missed your last article, how is your eye??? That's another reason you must rest! We are doing AWESOME and working so hard, even when we rest our muscles are growing. I just have to keep working my darn lower abs! I'm doing a P90X routine for them right now, just have to be consistent. So you're back at the weights tomorrow? I am too, but still a little weak today. Maybe up the glutamine. Chat soon.

I just started working out this Tuesday because I was still sick. Well, now I am better and hitting the gym everyday and feeling great. I am so excited to see my results. -4 points in body fat and 6lbs in fat YEAH...

YYEEAAHH! I'm glad you got over that little hurdle, now you'll be kicking butt the rest of the way. I've also been thinking of doing a hydrostatic test, but we dont' have one here. We do have Air displacement plethysmography, aka bod pod, that is similar, but uses air instead of water. I think I'm going to try it in April or May. Let me know how the results turn out on that.

Good morning my friend & Happy Monday. Can you believe it is already March? Time flys by way to fast. My weekend was great but busy. Between workouts and getting my hair done (thank god cuz it really needed it) I was running to my sons basketball games. Poor kid jammed his left ring finger right before half time in the second game. However, he still managed to play the rest of the games & they ended up in 3rd place. How was your weekend? I have been thinking about you because it sounds like you have been very busy with school. Thanks I bought that hot pink 2 piece a couple summers ago on sale but just never put it on. I am thinking of upping my ThermX to two pills in the a.m. and two in the early afternoon and see how it goes. I got the DeFine because I recall you said it mixes better - I have the green apple flavor, it's WAAAYYY better than DeLite. Thanks! Michele! Looking good BTW! Personally for me, I consider Thermxx to be on the lower end of the "caffeiney" effect so it''s perfect for the days I don't want to be all jacked up on caffeine. Hi honey I just thought I would check in on you. It sounds like you have had a touch week with all you have going on. I have been a little under the weather myself since the end of last week but I think I am finally seeing the end of it. Plus, I don't know how the weather is in Spokane but it is very cold & snowy in the Midwest. Winter has never been a good time of the year for me because I get that winter depression that they called SAD. However, now that I have been working out it has been 100 times better. You are doing so awesome that I hate to see you run yourself down. I know this is easier said than done sometimes but try & find some alone time for yourself to relax. So you take care of yourself & let's keep on rocking!!!! xxxooo

Hi Michele ~ just wondering if you ever got around to trying the protein bar recipe and what you thought about it. I'm thinking about making my 2nd batch, but my scale went up .6lb and can't figure out why, maybe too much of those in too little of time? My husband still gives me guff about making him try one!!! I finally brought out the frozen fish and nuked that one night and it was really good. Although my husband's not complaining about the supplements anymore, he is complaining about dinner!!!! He is putting together a 3 mo program for me so I can do it on my own with him on the sidelines AKA: Facebook helping me along. Hi Michele, I just posted my "End of Month 2" progress article and pics. Month 2 certainly brought some challenges: strained shoulder (no chest for 1.5 weeks), strained neck, and foot strain. All of that was with the regular challenges any working professional goes through. Well, I am headed into month 3 which, essentially is my final month because for months 4 - 6 I will be focused on adding muscle and won't post again until right before the contest ends. I've broken down the contest into two parts: 1) get lean and 2) gain muscle and stay lean. So the first 12 weeks (3 months) are most important for me and is essentially my contest time frame. Gaining muscle is a very long and slow process, so the difference between month 3 and 6, in terms of muscle mass won't be very drastic. Let me know when you post your updated pics. Don't forget the newspaper in each pic, which acts like a date stamp. Some people are forgetting to continue with their newspaper date stamp in their progress pics. Your month 1 progress looks great! In your profile pic you have an entourage....they look very supportive. My grandfather lived in Spakane, Washington so your location made me smile.

If you up your intensity one week say more weight less reps then the next week do more reps less weight then the following medium etc. Also get creative with your weight training schedule. Try a different machine for your quads ect. Watch what other people are doing, they may give you ideas. ALWAYS keep your muscles guessing! I loved doing planks...side, regular, movement (rocking) also weighted or one armed. This really toned up my shoulders and core! Very good all over workout. Try jump roping also, good all over cardio experience! Good luck, like they said there is still 4 months left..don't get bored!

How long have you been at 20%? how long on thermxx? How much Protein are u taking? you still have 4 months and just stay focused.. the thermxx takes time to get into system, Michele started dropping the last 2 months so don't worry about it... yet. Stay focused on your training and nutrition.. How much cardio are you doing? and are you doing HIT? you are looking great so just stay focused!!

I have been on anti-biotic so I have not started the glutamine yet. I am going to up the supplements on Monday. I have been drinking the protein shakes and vita-cell.
I did not know the Glutamine would make me feel better, I just thought that was for recovery, so that is a plus. Looking forward to getting over this cold.

You'll get under that 20% bf, I'm guessing this week. I'd say just trust your trainer and nutrionist and they'll get you where you want to be. I know I hit my plateau at like week 10 or so with my trainer and we did a caloric shock and that worked so fast. We dropped cals. for one week and then increased the next. The body is a strange thing and gets used to working as efficient as possible. My latest struggle has been my stomach pinch. I can't get under that 20mm, I should though my next check in. If not I'll be shocked. Good job getting those newspaper pics up, it would be awful if someone got disqualified for something as little as that. let me know the next time you get your bf checked where you came in at. I can't wait until I start lifting heavy, that means I can eat more to put on some size!

I understand that! Define is the same as the Delite...I just like it better(more flavors)! It's not a MM supplement though! You're cutting it up...You're numbers are great, maybe you don't need the define/Delite! I just didn't journal last week and that made all the world of difference!
