Fun At The Park

Well, today was my day of rest and I was going to make it a fun day...warm weather, sunshine, and time with the family!
I still wanted to get some cardio in since I need to lose these last 6-7 lbs. My scale has gone up & down all week...darn bloating and with this intense lifting workout...I think I've been gaining more muscle!
We all get so caught up in training at the gym that we sometimes forget about all we can do outside! This afternoon, I got my 6 yr. old and headed for the park! Let me tell you...I made myself quite the workout while involving her in all the activity! Here's a list of things we did:
1) She rode her bike while I jogged: 1 mile to/from park
2) played tag running from point to point in park with loser doing 10 mountain climbers...of course, I always LOST!
3) At each point, we did 20 jumping jacks. Total=100
4) Ran the bases x4 in baseball area. At each base did 10 side-to-side box jumps
5) 10 sets of 15 knee ups on park bench (she didn't do these...just counted)
6) 5 sets of 10 dips on side of slide
7) 5 sets of 10 push-ups on bench
8) I ran around perimeter of park (approx 1 mile) 2x while she played on swings
It was a great play day! We're both worn out and I got my cardio in! So, now to get ready to play some basketball!
