Jane, it looks like you are making good progress! Don't forget to hold your newspaper for your date stamp. If you think the paper throws off the aesthetic feel for the photo then do both, one with newspaper and one without for each pose.
Everyone's journey is unique, but sometimes we can gain a dose of motivation, encouragement, and inspiration when we know the trials and tribulations that others are going through in their transformation experience. I'd love to hear yours! Go to my last article that deals with challenges during this contest and please share. There are some neat stories by other people too (I was inspired when I read their stories)! THANKS!

Hey I was looking over some business material last week and came across a simple article that I had from quite some time ago. It is from a business coach that I get articles, etc. from sometimes. It helped me get focused again. Change Begins With Choice by Jim Rohn
Any day we wish; we can discipline ourselves to change it all. Any day we wish; we can open the book that will open our mind to new knowledge. Any day we wish; we can start a new activity. Any day we wish; we can start the process of life change. We can do it immediately, or next week, or next month, or next year.
We can also do nothing. We can pretend rather than perform. And if the idea of having to change ourselves makes us uncomfortable, we can remain as we are. We can choose rest over labor, entertainment over education, delusion over truth, and doubt over confidence. The choices are ours to make. But while we curse the effect, we continue to nourish the cause. As Shakespeare uniquely observed, "The fault is not in the stars, but in ourselves." We created our circumstances by our past choices. We have both the ability and the responsibility to make better choices beginning today. Those who are in search of the good life do not need more answers or more time to think things over to reach better conclusions. They need the truth. They need the whole truth. And they need nothing but the truth.
We cannot allow our errors in judgment, repeated every day, to lead us down the wrong path. We must keep coming back to those basics that make the biggest difference in how our life works out. And then we must make the very choices that will bring life, happiness and joy into our daily lives.
And if I may be so bold to offer my last piece of advice for someone seeking and needing to make changes in their life - If you don't like how things are, change it! You're not a tree. You have the ability to totally transform every area in your life - and it all begins with your very own power of choice.

I love you to sweetie & hope you are having a good weekend as well!!! Mine has been very busy with hair appointments, working out & my son's basketball games. Poor kid jammed his finger right before half time during his second game. He has one more today but not sure if he will be able to getting in playing time in. That is so cool that you are hiring a pro body builder I am very excited for you. I wish I lived by you so we could be workout buddys. Let me know what new products that you end up getting. Jane, I need your advice because I'm not sure whom to contact about my entry photos. My trainer took the pics while I was dressed in gym clothes. Am I allowed to resubmit photos in a two piece as all the others are? When I updated the photo gallery, the entry ones were Xed out. I would like to get the correct entry pics before the deadline if possible. Thanks for your support.

Today: Worked Hamstrings, Tri's, Biceps, chest. 10 minutes ARC 45 resistance and 6 incline (warm up). Boxing, slider and weights. Did core work and stretching.
FOOD:
Bfast=1 cup Bran cereal with unsugared raisins. 1 cup skim milk.
Snack=1 hard boiled egg
Lunch=Grilled chicken, tomato slice, 1 whole wheat slice.
snack=max gourmet shake w/glutamine
dinner=Tuna fish (out of can, nothing else) Spinach toss with tomato, cucumber and squash. 5 sprays of salad spritzer-Balsalmic.
Before bed=max pro vanilla with water

Starting ZUMBA!!!! YES!

I hope my arms look like yours in week 6 - that's awesome! I go into my local MM for bf and measurements tomorrow and I'm anxious to see a difference. Last week my nutritionist had computer problems and since I didn't write down my inches lost; I didn't post anything. It was difficult last week to stay focused with being sick - but I'm hopefully back on track!

Believe me, I'm amazed myself. The book said you could lose a percent a week, but it should slow down considerably now. I'm also interested in getting the BF checked by a different method vs. the calipers. Your lifts are great, you are STRONG girl!!!! I'm not a big fan of the incline/decline bench but my new routine calls for it, makes me feel wimpy putting 5 and 10 lb plates on again. Keep up the strength!!!!

I play coed sand vb all summer. It is a blast and I am looking forward to having an awesome body this summer. You should see if your community has open gym. We have it every Friday night at a parks and rec gym 7-9 is intense vb and then 9-11 is easier. It really puts your body to the test. You know weights and cardio are one thing, putting them to use in a sport is another! Make it your mission to find a place, you will be thankful you did!

Boxing rountine? Thats sounds cool & fun do you do that at your gym? Yeah I have always had monster calfs so I do not focus on them as much as the rest of my body parts I guess. I am just dreaming of the day where I can walk or run down the beach with out my legs rubbing together like a match trying to start a fire. lol
