I Hate Push Ups

HI Eric, how's it going? How are you doing with your pushups? I used to hate them too, but I got over it and can do all sorts of variations...still working on the one arm pushups:) Now I am trying to do unassisted pullups..ugggh!

I am not sure if you have access to equiment or a pool, but I find swimming and using the elliptical will really make the body fat mass number decrease. The first five minutes on the elliptical machine will make you sweat like never before and you will want to get off, but don't. After a few weeks on it you will see a big difference. Good Luck!

awesome Eric. I love doing calves. I did another one yesterday.........190lbs on seated calf for 250 reps. Only ten second break when I couldn't do anymore. It took a few minutes to get there.

Make sure your sticking your chest out and using those triceps instead of those shoulders! Funny you mentioned push-ups. I had to really work on my form this week...so I've been doing tons of them too! In the military we did tons of push-ups...now to find out that I use my shoulders too much when I should be using my chest! I learned that it helps to think of which muscle I'm using when I do them! So, I feel where you're coming from! Great job...I'm glad you're enjoying the transformation! You're looking great! I love the vits...I definately miss them when I don't take them! Have a great week!

Eric....for calves on Saturday I did several things. First, I was on the leg press machine and there is a place on that to do calves. On that machine I did straight calf raises for about 40 reps, then heels together calf raises for about 40, then toes together for about 40 reps, then back to straight calf raises til failure. Then I went to the seated calf machine. I did the same thing on this machine, straight raises, heels togethers, toes together, straight to failure. Then I did toe taps back on the leg press machine. Toe taps are where you set your heels on the platform instead of toes and tap toes. I did 4 sets of these around 75 reps on those each. Toe taps are really important, as they help decrease shin splints and give that overall symmetry of the calf. They work the front part of your calf. Most people don't do toe taps.......they look easy, but if you do them right they get really difficult and give you that lava burn!

Hi Eric! Welcome to the challenge. To reinforce Diana...make sure you have 3 MM products. Yes, I love the Ultra 100. I'm lost if I don't take it daily. It's really boosted my immune system. I'll have to ask about the Afterglow...but I have so many products in my stack. I'll have to post an article to update my list! My counter is full of MM tubs...you'll get there, it's addicting (haha). Best of luck with your transformation! Any questions, let me know! Do you have a nutrition plan? It's a must....

Forgot to tell you, hubby got his degree in H.S. education, he's a teacher. And don't forget, you have to use 3 MM products for the contest, Afterglow is NOT made by MM so it doesn't count. But it tastes soooo good!

Hi Eric!! Thanks for the positive comment on my gallery, I have worked very hard for these results, without a trainer, so it can be done!! My hubby went to Doane, that's in Crete right? Never been there myself. Which MM store do you go to? I've been working with Steve Lucchino out of the Lincoln store who comes to Bellevue once a week. He is an MMA fighter and has helped me out so much!! Love him. Keep in touch and tell me about your progress!!!

Whats up Eric? Well you already did the first step by taking your pictures with a newspaper. The next thing is to write articles that give updates about what you're doing, plans, supplements you use etc. Then I'd say atleast once a month post updated pics with newspapers. I do that and then also post other pictures randomly. There are some really cool active people on here, I think you'll like it a lot. so have you stopped by your max muscle store yet?
