I'm so with your blog to Diana! It's so amazing what we've done to change our lives and the way we feel! It's so nice to be keeping in touch and chatting with others on the same page I am! Great job! The arc is really close to the crossramp. I don't like ellipticals because I don't feel like I burn! I can adjust the resistance and incline on the arc. I go at 10 incline and 100 resistance...I think the highest it goes! Definately sweating good after. You must of been dead after the cardio and legs...I know that when I burn the 900 cals after legs I am! I also started split cardio this week. I just hate waking up EARLY! It's been nice enough outside to get out and run..feels great to get out off the treadmill!

By the way...Diana & I kicked it up with 3 cardio sessions today! What do you do for cardio. I did the arc for 45 min and burnt almost 900 calories. No wonder I was so hungry!

Perfect timing! I'm living on the computer this weekend doing my presentation! A Love-hate relationship I have with triceps & biceps! Gotta love it! I just posted an article on "My Arsenal"...my stack! Tonite my husband was joking around with how much counterspace I take with my products! I never realized how much I had until I grouped them up for a pic...how funny! Love em' all...so addicting!

I ended up getting the orange. I was very worried about it at first because I have only had chocolate and vanilla before but it was very good with the watermelon after glow added. I haven't had it more than one day obviously but I cannot believe the effects just after the first day of working out hard!

I actually just stopped in yesterday for the first time and bought the MaxPro protein and After Glow. I am really excited to see how it works. I was very impressed with the service there because it is nothing at all like GNC or Complete Nutrition. You can tell they really care about their customers. Can't wait to go back!

I'm over a cold that I had to take a few days off of training for. I'm picking up my cardio as well as keeping with the heavy weights, lost another pound. I was hoping to get my BF tested last week to see if my days off had any impact, it still "felt" like my muscles were growing ~ weird sensation. Hopefully I can get in tomorrow and then I'll really be able to let you know how I'm doing. Your trip looked like a blast, sure it was some more inspiration.

Actually, my trainer and I were talking about the BF testing. It isn't hydrostatic testing...it's a bodpod. She mentioned that it's better than the hydrostatic. Would be interesting to see what it shows!

Hi Josh! Finally hit under 20%...19% but I take it! Also lost 2 1/2 lbs. I think I could of had bigger numbers but I was sick for 2 days. Will post new pics this week. I'm also going in for a hydrostatic BF%. My trainer recommended it because it is VERY accurate! So, now off to set a new goal!

hey Josh, i didn't get my bf checked today because Adam (my trainer) didn't want to go to the gym to get the equipment because everyone would stop him to talk and he'd never be able to leave, understandable, but disapointing. Lucky me I did get to strip, to underware, for him so he could see what he was working w/. He's only seen me once and only for a very short time so he didn't really know what he was working with. His recomendation, work on middle back and glutes. I did get my new nutriton plan and they've uped my calories to 1600 so I think they are trying to build muscle and then later around April well start to lean out. I need to get my daughter to take new picts so i can post them and see if there is a difference, especially in the back, supposedly it looks pretty good but i cant see it. Well keep me uptodate w/your progress.

They said that I was burning muscle, not fat -- probably has to do with the fact that I'm 48. If I ran at full throttle, I will lose weight like a dream. But when they do the body fat measurements, I lose more muscle than fat which totally ticks me off. I'm just trying to change things up so I lose fat & build muscle (which will increase my metabo) --

I'm sticking to the maxmuscle plan -- meals at 5:45 / 12:00 / 6:00 PM -- protein & carbs at 9:00 & 3:00 PM -- I eat cottage cheese at 9:00 after my workouts every night -- I'm on a 2900 calorie deal. 6 meals a day
I lift 6 nights a week / walk on a treadmill 7 days a week at 60 minutes per day (they told me to knock it off and drop down to 30 minutes now).
Getting some weight loss but not seeing the fat percentage drop, actually seeing some muscle weight loss. Taking many MM supplements, I'm out of anything bad (Beer, chocolate,cheat meals) -- i'm sticking to it but not seeing the results I had hoped for.

Hi Josh! Just wanted to drop you a line as we're both coming up on Week 12!!! Are you excited? I know I've been a lamenting a bit about how come I'm not like the people in the 12 week Maxformation book, but I know I have come a long way. Your last pics look great and I bet your next ones will show even more improvement. Anything new in your supplements? I have to pick up more this week... get out the checkbook! Hi Josh, I just posted my "End of Month 2" progress article and pics. Month 2 certainly brought some challenges: strained shoulder (no chest for 1.5 weeks), strained neck, and foot strain. All of that was with the regular challenges any working professional goes through. Well, I am headed into month 3 which, essentially is my final month because for months 4 - 6 I will be focused on adding muscle and won't post again until right before the contest ends. I've broken down the contest into two parts: 1) get lean and 2) gain muscle and stay lean. So the first 12 weeks (3 months) are most important for me and is essentially my contest time frame. Gaining muscle is a very long and slow process, so the difference between month 3 and 6, in terms of muscle mass won't be very drastic. Let me know when you post your updated pics. Don't forget the newspaper in each pic, which acts like a date stamp. Some people are forgetting to continue with their newspaper date stamp in their progress pics. Your month 1 progress looks great, you look like you are adding some quality muscle there!

Hi Josh. Looking good, great progress. You're welcome on the zuchini suggestion. The Zuchini Bread is pretty much the extent of my baked recipes. One of my favorite snacks is oatmeal with a scoop of Max Lean protein stirred in or Max Lean prepared as pudding with a little cool whip or Max Lean blended with half a frozen banana, yeah...I guess you could say I've been on a bit of a Max Lean kick.

Yes, definitely having problems with the site. I was thinking the same thing about it going haywire. I don't see your pics, but I can now see mine. I haven't seen Carr-Knowledge around, maybe he's on vacation!! You have to know about us girls and the fascination with what the scale says. I'm trying not to pay it too much attention! hey Josh, its Denice, i understand a competition being outside of your comfort zone, After my posing class yesterday some of the ladies doing figure posing were trying on competition suits. Ahhhhhhh, I haven't worn a real swimm suit bottom since HS (well over 15yrs ago) now that is outside my comfort zone, but with all this hard work i wont let my insecurities stop me, I may not be perfect to the judges but i worked for what ive achieved and im gonna show them. You do the same, go for it.

Hey Josh, the posing is killer, you have to pose w/ the upper body while remembering to keep the bottom tight. i am so tense that i cant get the poses right, my sholders are to high (tense) anyway the show isn't till July so i have plenty of time to get it right. Im in Va and the show is in a local HS. I went to one last year and there were only 4 girls in the bodybuilding and about 30 in figure. So by my math i have a better chance w/ bodybuilding. lol. You doing a show anythime?

As for me the plan is to burn as much fat possible, while conserving my muscle. Keeping track of my hart rate, & dieting regularly. Hope to chat with you soon, about our progress. Just tried the pancakes and I halved the recipe. It made a bunch. I LOVE them! Thanks for sharing, should have tried them a long time ago. Sometime soon, I'll try the bread. Going to work out now that I'm energized! Have a good weekend.
