Hi Sherri, I just posted my "End of Month 2" progress article and pics. Month 2 certainly brought some challenges: strained shoulder (no chest for 1.5 weeks), strained neck, and foot strain. All of that was with the regular challenges any working professional goes through. Well, I am headed into month 3 which, essentially is my final month because for months 4 - 6 I will be focused on adding muscle and won't post again until right before the contest ends. I've broken down the contest into two parts: 1) get lean and 2) gain muscle and stay lean. So the first 12 weeks (3 months) are most important for me and is essentially my contest time frame. Gaining muscle is a very long and slow process, so the difference between month 3 and 6, in terms of muscle mass won't be very drastic. Let me know when you post your updated pics. Don't forget the newspaper, which acts like a date stamp.

Been picking myself up and bringing myself back where I need to be. Yes have fallen off the wagon and hit quite hard. But, have come to see myself as a changed person. And really have come to like the idea of the changes. So the discouragement could also be deemed as en-couragement. To press on with a better picture in mind where I want to be. When I log on and see these photos of myself they remind me of where I am heading and where I would like to be. So Back on the wagon? YES I AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This week has been "Fall Off the Wagon WEEK"! Literally. So very discouraged. Was thinking that maybe, just maybe I might see some sort of a result that would give me a big smile and say Its all coming together. But as fate would have it not even a glimmer. The one consolation is, I usually am very tired after working an eight hour day. Not today!! I worked a 10.87 hour day on my feet running a restaurant. And the difference is our company has recently taken away 10 hours a day off of our labor charts. And they leave the manager to pick up the slack. That is what I did today, without a problem. Am a bit tired tonight but am ok. Not dieing yet.

Some improvement in the stomach area, but not so much anywhere else. Kinda discourageing, but to be totally truthful, I still feel better. So my hard work is sort of paying off, just not in looks. My son is my biggest fan, he really has the faith in me that I can do this. And that really helps. Started figuring how many years I have been like this, and WOW it has been 23 years! So sad that I waited this long, But .......better late than never!!!!

Hi Sherri'!! I am so glad you are seeing results. Especially overcoming the feeling of being tired all the time. I have to get my thyroid checked monthly and that helps a lot. But all these workouts and MM products have tripled my energy levels!! I hope you are finding things a lot easier and you keep making great strides!!! Keep in touch.

Getting a little more excited!! Am starting to see a bit of results as far as the weight end of things. To give some background.......have had a hard time keeping going, used to get really tired. When going to school used ALL of the elevators I could, really got winded. When at home sitting on the couch, I needed help getting up by either "rolling" off the couch or pulling myself up by the arms of the couch. Life was really getting to me through my weight. Since starting this program, I have increased my energy level and started toning. I now can work an eight to ten hour day, go to school, and still work the farm. haven't felt this good in years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, went in today and weighed in and checked the body fat index. Not as great as I wanted. Didn't really loose any weight at all, lost a tenth of a percent on the body fat index. So..... gonna up the anti a bit. Right now exercising approx. 2 to 3 hours a week one time a week. Actually trying to build up more endurance, am getting there. Have decided to up the workouts to two days a week. Also purchased a new protien mix that has a thicker texture and a very good flavor. Also gonna get the nutrition part down, working at a fast food restaurant gives way at times to better judgment. But to Hardees credit they do have alot of ways to eat healthy.

Six days in, finding it easier and having better indurance. Have incorporated some exercise, and changing eating habits. Eating habits have varied over the years due to the choice of career. Working around food and being responsible for the product going out, you tend to eat often and the wrong things. Choosing to change the way I eat and what I eat has made it difficult at times. But coming to the realization that the choices I make have a lasting affect upon how I want to look and how people see me.
