"Radioactive" Power Oatmeal: Submitted by: Erin | Date Added: 4 Apr 2010
Listed in: Breakfast
Ingredients

1/3 to 1 cup rolled oats (Not instant) (adjust to what you want your carb count to)
1 to 4 TBS unflavored Whey Protein (adjust to what you want your protein count to)
1 TBS Ground Flax Seed
1 TBS local bee pollen (find it out your health food store)
1-2 tsp cinnamon
vanilla and stevia to taste

Cooking Instructions

My sister named this recipe because of the yellowish color of the oatmeal after the bee pollen is added.

1. Mix all ingredients together in microwaveable bowl.

2. Add 3x the amount of water as you did oatmeal (so if you had 1/2 cup oatmeal, add 1.5 cups of water to the mixture)

3. Stir

4. Microwave for 2 minutes

5. Stir

6. Microwave for 1-2 minutes more making sure it doesn't bowl over

7. Let sit 2-5 minutes.

8. Enjoy.

NOTE: This is a great clean recipe. Don't remove the flax seed or the mixture gets a watery consistency as flax acts a binder. Bee Pollen is optional but adds amino acids, helps with allergies and has a sweet taste.
