Power Tip: My favorite tip to increase swing speed, ball speed, and flat out distance is one very easy, and you don't even have to do at the golf course. To build speed, you have to create it, not buy it. Start out treating the golf swing like you are at the gym. Take your driver, swing as fast as you possibly can without falling over and maintaining your balance. No ball is needed for this drill.. Just swing over and over as fast a possible, with no breaks in between swings. Do this 20 times. Then take a 1 minute break and repeat again. When you finish, you will have done 3-4 sets of 20. Just like if you were building muscle in the gym, but we are building muscle in the golf swing. If you can do this 3-4 times per week, I guarantee you will increase every facet of the swing in no time!
