How did you get involved in your sport and how long have you been doing it? Started out looking for a grappling sport to do after wrestling in high school and found BJJ. I always had a love for MMA and decided to get involved shortly after starting BJJ.
What has been one of the greatest challenges you’ve faced and how did you overcome it?Going through ACL reconstructive surgery is one of the hardest things I have ever done. In order to get through it, I was forced to stay positive and work diligently day by day.
What is the best part about what you do as an athlete? I get to teach what I love to do for a living! I can inspire people around the world without ever meeting them.
How have Max Muscle supplements helped you become better at your sport? Max Muscle supplements have helped my body to recover after intense training and keep me in the best shape possible.

What does being a part of Team Max Muscle mean to you? Being part of Team Max Muscle is an honor and a privilege. It is nice to be part of a community of athletes who are pushing themselves to MAX.
When times get tough, how do you stay motivated? When times get tough I stay motivated by keeping in mind why I am doing what I do. I was told, growing up, anything that is worth doing is not going to be easy.
Who inspires you and why? My mother inspires me. Growing up, my mother had Lupus for as long as I can remember. She is a fighter at heart and never gives up.
What are your top five training tips for your sport?
- Always try your hardest

- Keep your diet clean and healthy
- Never give up
What is the most important piece of advice you would offer to someone who wants to be like you?The fight life is not an easy life and nothing comes quick and easy. Do your best to stay positive and work as hard as you can.

Top 3 songs you listen to when working out? Logic- I am the greatest, Futuristic- Greatest, Wiz Kalifa- King of everything

What is your training routine like each week? On average I train MMA for 2 hours a day and teach an average of 4 BJJ classes.
What is your most notable achievement? I recently became the IBJJF 2016 National Champion
